In conjunction with the Rotary Foundation, The Somerville Tyabb Rotary Club was pleased to support a magnificent new community initiative in the Somerville area. Helping Hands Somerville is a food pantry dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity. To help store safely the food donated by local businesses and turn whole loaves into conveniently sliced bread the Club, supported by a grant from the Rotary Foundation, paid for the purchase of glass fronted refrigerators and a bread slicer.  These are now bearing appropriate signage reflecting Rotary support.
